Adoption Time Line

Here is our Taiwan Adoption Time Line
  • January 2007 - Began Working on Homestudy
  • April 16, 2007 - Placed on the Waiting List with FEC for a healthy infant girl
  • July 15, 2008 - Received call that we are now within 90 days of estimated referral
  • July 31, 2008 - Renewed our Finger Prints
  • Dec 3, 2008 New Adoption Estimate of Another 4 Months to Referral
  • Feb 2009, Given new estimate of hopefully we will get referral within 6 months and time to update homestudy
  • March 13, 2009 received new I-171 approval from Homeland Security
  • Oct 23, 2009 - Referral of healthy infant girl
  • Dec 7, 2009 Orphanage Approval
  • Dec 29, 2009 Documents are FedX'd to Taiwan after state authentications and going through TECO
  • March 3, 2010 -Court Approval
  • April 19, 2010 Picked up our Daughter in Taiwan
